I have been shooting events for about 8 years and have shot some of the World's most prestigious events including World BMX Championships, Comrades Marathon, London Marathon, Sani2C, Dusi Canoe Marathon and many others. I have run the photographic crew for Comrades Marathon for 3 years and Sani2C for 2 years as well as covered many other events on my own.

Event photography is less about quantity and more about the quality of the images. Magazines and other media channels are more likely to print a great image from an event than a stock standard "production line" image shot by some "cheap labour" photographer sitting on a rock.

Over the last 10 years I have also developed solid relationships with some of South Africa's key media houses.
